Dr Evangelene Daniela

Registered Clinical Psychologist. PhD, DipClinPsy, BA, BSC(Hons).

Evangelene Daniela is a Clinical Psychologist of Cook Island Maori descent, from the village of Tengatangi, Atiu.  Evangelene has worked with CCDHB – at youth forensic mental health since 2008, and prior to that worked at CAMHS, HBDHB, and Addictions Service (HBDHB).   Prior to this she did a placement at Isa Lei, Pacific Community Mental Health, Waitemata DHB.  She also has a private practice with Dr Hukarere Valentine, which specialises in integrating cultural and clinical practice, and providing cultural supervision. 

Evangelene also sits on the Executive Team for Pasifikology, Hawkes Bay Pacific Health Leadership Group (PHLG), Pacific Youth Action Group (Hawkes Bay), and various Pacific groups including Health Promotion Agency and Cook Islands Health Network.  She has also worked in the Cook Islands as a visiting specialist.  With Pasifikology she has recently developed a Pacific Suicide Post-Vention Resource.  Evangelene has been involved with Mana Moana since 2012.
